Easter Blessings to all of my Orthodox friends. Today is the Greek Orthodox Easter and growing up i remember that we always would say in Greek ‘Christos Anestis’ which means “Christ is Risen” and the reply was to say “Alithos Anesti” which means “Indeed He is risen”!
I had a nice time in Omaha. I spoke at the NEHM National Episcopal Health Ministry Conference on Friday evening at the Banquet. It seemed as though everyone enjoyed it and we now have several folks interested in coming to the Retreat Workshops. If you were there, I would love to hear from you.
I had a patient today that was admitted with kidney failure and rhabdomyolysis due to the fad weight loss treatment of HCG injections. Please be advised and aware that this can be very dangerous. The best approach to losing weight is to make a choice to change the way you live and incorporate more exercise, stress management and more fruits and vegetables into your life! Anything that sounds too good to be true …is too good to be true and can be VERY DANGEROUS.
As a devout Christian, this is one of the most Holy weeks of the year. This Good Friday night I happen to come across a short TV segment about the Resurrection. … I Believe!
It occurred to me today at work seeing people stressed and anxious that worry really makes you anxious and ‘crazy’ while true concern drops you to your knees!
